Backflow Prevention
At Pipe Surgeons, we are committed to making sure our customer's water is safe to drink and use, and we take many strides to ensure that their pipeline systems are functioning properly at all times.
Backflows are caused when drinking water becomes contaminated after cross-connecting with non-potable water, from sources such as sprinklers or HVAC systems, and can be triggered by water pressure drops, called back siphonage, or an increase in pressure, called back pressure. Backflow is a huge health hazard, which is why regular testing and certification is so important.
